Ney Matogrosso turned 85 less than a month ago and has just announced one of the biggest tours of his career. The shows are scheduled to take place in stadiums across Brazil throughout 2027, plus a performance in Portugal. The tour represents a milestone in the singer's trajectory, who remains active on stage even at an advanced age.

The artist stated that age does not represent an obstacle to his musical career. Ney responded to comments previously made by Xuxa, although the article does not specify exactly what the hostess's statements were that prompted the response.

Matogrosso's tour draws attention for the scale of the events, with stadium shows, which demonstrates the singer's enormous popular appeal even after decades of career. The tour's scope, covering multiple Brazilian cities and expanding internationally with a date in Portugal, underscores the artist's continued strength in the music market.
