The village of Adrão, in the municipality of Arcos de Valdevez, was the scene of a cleanup action organized by the Sports and Recreation Association of Adrão, which brought together community members and volunteers for a day dedicated to work and fellowship. The initiative's main objective was to contribute to the environmental preservation and enhancement of this typical Minho village, recognized for its landscape marked by traditional agricultural terraces.
The Vice-President of the Municipality, Emília Cerdeira, joined the action, reinforcing the Municipality's commitment to the promotion and enhancement of the territory. Her presence highlighted the importance of community involvement in initiatives that contribute to the preservation of villages and their identity.
The action also had the support of the Municipality of Arcos de Valdevez, the Parish Council of Soajo, and the Communal Lands of Soajo, demonstrating broad collaboration between different local entities.
Beyond the contribution to cleaning and preserving the space, the initiative provided a moment of fellowship among participants, strengthening community bonds and the spirit of collaboration around the enhancement of Adrão.
