The second international public tender for the requalification and expansion of the College of Biosciences in Elvas, with a planned investment of 5.7 million euros, again received no bids. This is the second time the tender procedure has ended without any interested parties.
The information was provided by the rector of the Polytechnic University of Portalegre, Luís Loures, who revealed the status of the tender that aimed to carry out the requalification and expansion works at the school.
The planned investment for this intervention is 5.7 million euros, representing a project of considerable magnitude for the higher education institution located in Elvas.
The lack of interest in the international public tender now raises questions about the future of the requalification of the College of Biosciences, which sees its modernization project postponed for the second time.
