The body of Brazilian Gabriella Elorriaga Querino Ferreira, 26 years old, was found this Tuesday in the lagoon in front of Campalto, in Italy. She had been missing for four days after a nautical accident in the Tessera canal, in Venice. Gabriella was on the vessel with her husband, Italian Sean Michieli, who died in the collision. The two had been married for only three months.

The body was located after a passerby informed authorities that they had seen a body in the water, according to information from the Nuova Venezia website. Gabriella was removed from the lagoon by firefighters, taken to Campalto and subsequently sent to the morgue. A forensic pathologist is expected to perform the autopsy to determine the cause of death.
