Minister Flávio Dino raised new doubts about colleague André Mendonça's conduct in the Master case, which involves a bank business arm in the funeral sector and the São Paulo city government. The decision was signed this morning, shortly before the start of the Supreme Federal Court session that will decide on the opening of an investigation against Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
In the decision, Dino determines that his document be sent to Minister Edson Fachin for addition to the case files that investigate Mendonça's conduct. The minister draws attention to the fact that the case went to the Plenary's reference on March 14, 2025, but the trial was suspended the following day.
The suspension of the trial occurred due to a view request made by André Mendonça, who had received banker Daniel Vorcaro one day before, when Vorcaro had a direct interest in the topic under discussion. Dino also highlights that Fabiano Zettel, Vorcaro's brother-in-law, has ties to the Lagoinha Baptist Church and held a position in the São Paulo city government.
