Lucy Letby, a British nurse, was convicted of murdering seven babies and attempting to murder seven others at a hospital in the UK. The now-revealed report points out that the hospital completely failed to protect patients.
According to the report, Lucy Letby could have been stopped before some of the deaths if the hospital had taken protective measures sooner. The investigation identified a "complete failure" on the part of the hospital institution.
The document reveals that warning signs were ignored for too long, allowing the nurse to continue having access to newborns even when suspicions about her conduct already existed.
