The Municipality of Loulé will hold participatory sessions on September 28 as part of the development of its Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS), with the motto "Sustainable mobility is built with everyone's participation!" The plan aims to contribute to a positive change in how people move around and experience the territory.
During the morning, a working session will be held with municipal services and representative entities of the territory, with the purpose of gathering different perspectives and technical knowledge and strengthening coordination between the various stakeholders with competencies in the areas of mobility, accessibility, transport, territory and public space.
In a previous phase, a Mobility Survey was conducted targeting the population, aimed at characterizing existing travel patterns in the municipality and identifying needs and challenges. Now, the Municipality intends to deepen consultation through a public session at 5:30 PM, at the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, open to participation by all.
The PMUS is funded by the Transport Fund and the Environmental Fund and has technical advisory support from MPT – Mobility and Territorial Planning.
