A large fire broke out in the municipality of Proença-a-Nova, in the district of Castelo Branco, and has entered the resolution phase.
The fire was occurring in the Atalaia area, where at 12:45, 194 operatives were still on the ground fighting the flames.
The firefighters had the support of 66 ground vehicles in the firefighting operation.
To reinforce the operations, two aerial resources were also deployed to act in the area affected by the fire.
