Municipality creates parenting training group to support parents of teenagers

The Municipality of Monção will promote a parental training group aimed at parents and guardians of adolescents between 11 and 17 years old. The training aims to address the main challenges associated with this stage of development, providing a space for debate and sharing on different adolescent issues. The goal is to contribute to better family dynamics and the adoption of positive parenting practices.

The sessions will take place on October 14, 21, and 28 and November 4, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and on November 14, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Municipal Archive of Monção. Participation is free, but subject to mandatory registration by October 2.

Registration can be made through the Social Action Service, by calling 251 649 000 or by email at [email protected]. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Monção, in partnership with CAFAP – Centro de Apoio Familiar e Aconselhamento Parental (Family Support and Parental Counseling Center), from the Family Attendance Office, in Viana do Castelo.
