The Friends League of Nossa Senhora da Assunção Hospital in Seia (LAHNSAS) celebrated on Sunday, September 13, its 25th anniversary with the presentation of the book "25 years of memories". The event took place at the Serra da Estrela Interpretation Center (CISE), in Seia, marking a quarter century of dedication and community work in local healthcare.
The book, authored by Angelina Fonseca, president of the institution's board, compiles records, accounts and landmark moments that define the association's trajectory in continuous support of the hospital and in improving patient well-being.
The ceremony enjoyed strong community participation, bringing together members, volunteers, citizens and representatives of local entities. The cultural aspect was marked by a fado performance featuring musicians and fadistas Gisela Fonseca, David Fidalgo and Paulo Ribeiro.
The full proceeds from the sale of the book go to the League, intended to fund the continuation of its causes and charitable projects.
