Even if the minimum wage in the State rose to 1,030 euros in 2027 it would be "short", says Fesap

The Federation of Public Administration Trade Unions (Fesap) argues that the remuneration base in the public sector should increase beyond 1,030 euros in 2027, considering that this value would still be "short" given workers' needs. General secretary José Abraão argues that the pluriannual agreement in force, which provides for increases of 2.3% (rising from 934.99 to 995.51 euros), was signed in a different economic context and that inflation, potentially above 3%, is causing losses in purchasing power.
