A pot forgotten on the stove triggered an alert to the Funchal Professional Firefighters this morning, at 7:00 AM, on Rua Cónego Agostinho Gomes, in Santo António. The incident mobilized four vehicles and 12 operatives to the location.
Upon arrival of the emergency teams, the situation was already under control, with no firefighting operations being necessary. The firefighters limited themselves to ventilating the space, due to the presence of smoke inside the dwelling.
The incident caused no injuries or significant material damage, with the firefighters' intervention being brief and limited to dispersing the accumulated smoke.
