Negroni Week begins this Monday with events at bars across Rio de Janeiro. This is the 14th edition of the event, running until the 27th.
Casa Horto, led by mixologist Jessica Sanchez, will be the event's ambassador in the city. The menu highlight is the Negroni Red Velvet (R$ 48), which transforms the classic cake into a liquid dessert. The bar also offers the traditional Negroni (R$ 48) and the Boulevardier (R$ 52), plus a tasting flight that includes a Campari gift with purchase. The address is Rua Pacheco Leão 696, in Jardim Botânico.
The Êtta Bar, in Ipanema, is participating in Negroni Week for the first time. Bar chef Matheus Barros prepares the classic cocktail (R$ 37), made with Campari, gin, and red vermouth, and the signature Academia dos Rebeldes (R$ 40), featuring Campari washed in olive oil.
During the event, anyone who orders two Negronis at Êtta Bar, whether classic, signature, or one of each, receives a recipe to pair with the cocktails.
