A rent-a-car vehicle went off the road this afternoon, around 3:30 PM, in the area of the Fanal crossroads, leaving the roadway and ending up off the road.
The vehicle was carrying two Italian citizens, a man and a woman, both under 30 years old, who were the only occupants of the crashed car.
The driver sustained minor injuries, namely abrasions, and was assisted at the scene by a witness who provided first aid.
Despite the situation, the occupants did not want to call the fire brigade, so there was no intervention from rescue corps at the scene of the accident.
