Angola experienced a historic week for national football in African club competitions. Four Angolan clubs advanced in the so-called "Afrotaças", which encompasses the African Champions League and the Confederation Cup.
Petro de Luanda, Wiliete de Benguela, 1º de Agosto and Kabuscorp managed to advance to the next phases of their respective competitions, representing Angola on the continental stage.
This qualification represents an important milestone for Angolan football, which rarely sees so many national clubs advance simultaneously in African club competitions.
