Two teams from the Azores will represent the region at the national final of the 12th edition of Apps for Good, which takes place on Friday at Pavilhão do Conhecimento in Lisbon. The teams present projects that combine technology, well-being, nature and tourism enhancement.
Apps for Good is a technological educational program promoted by CDI Portugal, which in this edition brings together 30 projects from students across the country. The event aims to highlight innovative solutions with social impact developed by students.
The Azorean participation in the competition demonstrates the region's commitment to promoting innovation and technology among young people, bringing projects that seek to address contemporary challenges in the areas of well-being, environment and tourism.
The event takes place at Pavilhão do Conhecimento, a space dedicated to science and technology in Lisbon, where the competing teams will present and defend their projects before a jury.
