The Humanitarian Association of Voluntary Firefighters of Valença will celebrate its 107th anniversary with a Community Open Day, scheduled for September 19th, at Lugar do Bárrio, in the parish of Fontoura.
The initiative aims to promote safety, prevention and community awareness regarding the activities carried out by the firefighters. Throughout the day, various activities are planned, including a vehicle exhibition, workshops, demonstrations and a simulation exercise.
The event seeks to showcase in a more personal way the work carried out by the firefighters, the equipment used and some of the situations that are part of their daily mission, thus bringing the corporation closer to the community it serves.
The organization will invite families to take part in the celebrations, providing a moment of socializing and participation for the entire population.
