ProMentI from the School Grouping of Águeda Wins Sonae Educação Award 2026

The Peer Mentoring Program, called ProMentI, from the School Grouping of Águeda was one of three projects distinguished in the Public Schools category of the Sonae Educação Award 2026. The program competed among 359 eligible applications from across the country.

The prize awarded to the project is 10 thousand euros. This amount will allow proposals presented by the students themselves of the grouping to be implemented.

ProMentI is a peer mentoring program, that is, based on help between colleagues at the same academic level. This approach was recognized by the jury of the Sonae Educação Award as an initiative of value in the Portuguese educational context.
