The Voluntary Firefighters of Câmara de Lobos were called out this afternoon to rescue a goat that was inside a stream on Avenida da Nova Cidade, in the city of Câmara de Lobos, on the Island of Madeira.
The rescue operation involved four members of the fire corporation, supported by two vehicles, which managed to remove the animal from the stream safely, without it suffering any injuries.
After being successfully rescued, the goat was delivered to the municipal services of Câmara de Lobos, remaining under the responsibility of the local council.
