The British company Open Cosmos, which has a presence in Portugal, managed to raise 300 million euros in funding to accelerate the production and launch of satellites. The investment will allow the company to expand its operations in the space sector.
The company currently has four satellite production factories, including one located in Coimbra, Portugal. With this infrastructure, Open Cosmos can manufacture one satellite per day, which represents significant production capacity in the sector.
The funding aims to accelerate the development and deployment of more satellites into space, strengthening the company's position in the space technology market. Open Cosmos is positioning itself as a relevant player in the small satellite industry.
