Ponte da Barca will host on October 10 the event "A Barca entre Traços e Cores", an outdoor painting event promoted by the Municipality. The town will transform into a large open-air studio for a day dedicated to art and the enhancement of the territory.
Artists from different backgrounds will spread out across various locations in the town and municipality to represent, through their perspective, landscapes, heritage, streets, monuments and other elements of local identity. Each artist may choose the location and perspective they wish to portray, resulting in different interpretations of the landscape and Barca's identity.
The initiative aims to bring art closer to the community and provide participants with a creative experience in direct contact with the territory. Participation is open to artists, with registrations available until September 30 through the email [email protected].
The works created during the event will later be presented in a collective exhibition at the Town Hall, allowing the public to discover Ponte da Barca through the diverse perspectives and artistic languages of the participants.
