Caian Zattar is playing the singer Belchior in his youth in the series "Alucinação," broadcast by Canal Brasil. The actor says he had been growing a mustache for a year and a half, and people around him started saying he looked a lot like the musician from Ceará. During that period, he was filming the soap opera "Elas por elas" and decided to keep the look.
After the soap opera wrapped up, Caian Zattar's agency notified him about an audition for the role. He sent a video singing the song "Alucinação" and, about two weeks later, was called in for a scene audition. The entire selection process lasted approximately a month and a half.
The actor revealed that through his work on the series, he was able to connect more deeply with Belchior's work and ended up becoming a fan of the singer. According to him, before the project, Belchior was a figure he liked, but he had not stopped to absorb so much of his artistic production. Caian discovered the album "Alucinação" at the end of his teenage years.
