Sporting Clube de Portugal drew their match against Famalicão, in a game played away from home. The lion team managed to be in the lead during the match, but ended up conceding the equaliser in the final minutes.
The goal that put Sporting in the lead was scored in the 81st minute, through a penalty converted by Luis Suárez. This play allowed the lions to take the lead on the scoreboard.
After the penalty was awarded, Sporting found themselves in numerical superiority, benefiting from a situation of numerical advantage over the Famalicão team for the rest of the match.
However, the visiting team could not maintain the advantage until the end. An own goal by defender Gonçalo Inácio resulted in the loss of two points for Sporting, culminating in a draw that represents a negative result for the lions.
