Experts and diplomats consulted by Euronews warn that this situation is weakening the collective defense mechanisms of the organization.
According to sources consulted by Euronews, the weak European response to Russian aggression is undermining NATO's deterrence credibility. This situation is sending the wrong signals to the Kremlin, which appears to be getting more appetite for taking calculated risks against alliance members.
