The publishers presented the main literary newcomers arriving at bookstores until Christmas, in the period known as the literary "rentrée." Among the surprises of this year, a trilogy by Richard Zimler stands out, an author already recognized by the Portuguese public.
The highlight goes to the strong presence of national authors among the edited newcomers. The diversity of themes also marks this season, offering readers a variety of choices for the coming months.
The editorial period also includes good reissues of works that deserve to be rediscovered. The editors seem to have bet on quality, offering less low-quality editorial content than in previous years.
