Rock in Rio just ended, leaving the audience nostalgic, but there are other music festivals scheduled for Rio de Janeiro and the surrounding area until the end of the year. The state offers a rich calendar of musical events for those who want to continue enjoying the cultural scene.
The Sotaque Carregado Festival takes place on September 18 and 27 at the Museu de Arte do Rio and Praça XV. The free event includes performances by DJ Mam, BNegão, Eliana Pittman, Orquestra Voadora and Felipe Cordeiro, bringing together music, visual arts and popular culture.
Rock The Mountain is considered one of the largest music festivals in the state of Rio after Rock in Rio. The 13th edition of the event is scheduled for October 30 and 31 and November 1, 6, 7 and 8, with stages set up in a park in Itaipava, Petrópolis. Among the confirmed artists is Anitta.
