FC Paços de Ferreira drew 1-1 with São João de Ver in the 5th round of Liga 3 Placard, remaining without a win in the competition. The match took place at the Estádio Capital do Móvel and was marked by balance during the first half, with few goal-scoring opportunities. Danger only came near halftime, from a direct free kick by Nuno Cunha that went close to the visitors' goal.
São João de Ver were more effective and opened the scoring at 43 minutes. Miguel Vilela set up Luisinho at the edge of the area, and the striker fired a powerful cross shot for 0-1. At the start of the second half, at 47 minutes, the visiting team's captain, Bruno Morais, received his second yellow card and was sent off, leaving São João de Ver reduced to ten players.
With numerical superiority, Paços de Ferreira pressed but continued to struggle to create clear chances. Jotta came close to the equaliser at 64 minutes, when his shot hit the post. The equaliser finally came at 82 minutes, in a move started by Caio Rafael on the left, who opened the play for Leandro Dias, whose tight cross found Jotta at the far post to finish first time.
The draw keeps both teams without wins. São João de Ver have three points and occupy ninth place, while Paços de Ferreira remain in last position with two points. Jotta was named man of the match, standing out for his pace and influence in the Paços attack.
