The parish of Oiã, in the municipality of Oliveira do Bairro, hosts on September 26 the third edition of the Oiã Sunset Bairrada Experience. The event is dedicated to sparkling wines, gastronomy and the identity of the Bairrada region. Double win: composer wins samba-enredo contests for Salgueiro and Unidos da Tijuca on the same night

The trio of composers Ian Ruas, Caio Miranda and José Carlos simultaneously won the samba-enredo contests for Salgueiro and Unidos da Tijuca this Sunday morning. At Salgueiro, the winning partnership also includes David Carvalho, Luiz Fernando, Luana Rosa, Fabiano Mattos and Carlão, and the school will bring to Sapucaí at Carnival 2027 the samba-enredo "Laroyê Xica da Silva: the history behind the history", developed by carnival designers Jorge Silveira and Leonardo Antan based on the book of the same name. The school will be the third to parade on Carnival Monday.
