This Sunday, Brazil defeated Argentina 3-0, with scores of 26/24, 25/19, and 25/16, and won the South American Championship title at Maracanãzinho. The stadium was packed and the crowd celebrated throughout the match. With the victory, Brazil finished the tournament undefeated and at the top, with 15 points.

The South American Championship was Brazil's first Olympic qualifier, and now the team will have more time to prepare.
Brazil's women's volleyball team won bronze medals at the last edition of the Games, in Paris-2024, and now aims to improve on that result in Los Angeles.
