Marc Márquez won the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano and took the lead in the MotoGP World Championship. The Spanish rider achieved an impressive recovery throughout the season to reach the top of the championship standings.
The rider completed the 27 laps of the race in 41 minutes, 13 seconds and 13 thousandths. The winning margin over the second place was 657 thousandths of a second, while the difference to third place was 2.326 seconds.
This victory marks a significant moment in Márquez's season, as he managed to overturn the deficit he had in the championship standings to take the lead of the MotoGP World Championship.
