The Social and Cultural Association of Sobrado promotes a series of activities to mark the reopening of Casa das Artes, with a program that includes a fado show next Sunday, the 20th, at 5:30 PM. The event features the performance of fado singer Rafael Silva from Sobrado, accompanied by musicians Mário Henriques and Yuri Reis, in a show described as grand.
Entry is free, on a first-come-first-served basis, subject to the available space limitations. The organization considers this an excellent opportunity to attend a unique show and discover a space that will be available to the community.
This initiative has the support of the Sobrado Parish Council, an entity that collaborated in promoting the event among the local population.
It should be noted that Casa das Artes was closed during a period when it housed the Sobrado Family Health Unit, while the building of this unit remained under renovation. The reopening marks the return of the space to its original cultural function.
