Vale de Santarém received on the weekend of September 11 and 12 the second edition of Associativism Day, an event dedicated to celebrating the local associative movement. The initiative's main objective was to promote cooperation between the various associations and institutions of the village, strengthening the community ties of the region.
The event brought together several local associations and community institutions, creating a space for socializing and exchanging experiences among the participating entities. This second edition was organized by the Cultural Association Vale de Santarém Identity and Memory (ACVISM), which coordinated the activities scheduled for the weekend.
The Workers' Recreational Society (S.R.O.) was also mentioned as one of the entities involved in the organization or participation of the event, although the information in the article appears incomplete. Associativism Day reflects the associativism tradition that characterizes many Portuguese communities, particularly in Ribatejo, where these organizations play an important role in cultural preservation and local identity.
