Portimonense added the fourth consecutive game without winning after losing 0-2 at home to Tondela, in the sixth round of II Liga. The team from Portimão, which had already come from three consecutive games without a win, failed to make a single on-target shot throughout the first half.
Tondela took the lead at 30 minutes through a goal by Arjen van der Heide, and extended the lead in the second half, with a goal by Mateus Sarará at 51 minutes.
With this defeat, Portimonense occupies 11th place in the standings, with seven points earned.
The next challenge for the team from Portimão will be on September 19, at 2:00 PM, for the Portuguese Cup, against Castre Daire.
