A woman died from cardiorespiratory arrest in Coruche after choking. The incident occurred after a help request was made to assist the victim.
The firefighters from Coruche, who were the closest to the location, did not have ambulances available at the time of the rescue request. This situation led to the emergency response arriving with a significant delay.
The rescue took approximately half an hour to arrive at the location after the help request was made. During this period, it was not possible to provide timely assistance to the woman who ended up dying.
