Tesla Semi in Europe: specifications revealed that threaten rivals

SAPO Notícias12 September 2026 at 19:30

Tesla officially revealed the specifications of the European version of the electric Semi truck, anticipating its debut at the IAA Transportation in Hannover. The model destined for Europe brings technical characteristics different from those used in the United States, adapting to the specific demands of the European market.

The Tesla Semi electric truck for Europe presents specifications that the company claims are superior to those of its rivals in the heavy truck segment. These specifications were developed to compete directly with traditional truck manufacturers in the European market.

Tesla's presence at the Hannover event marks one of the first times the brand has officially presented the Semi to the European public. The company hopes that the revealed specifications will demonstrate the viability of electric trucks for long-distance freight transport on the continent.

Why this matters

European readers following the transport and logistics sector gain a new competitor in the electric truck market, which may influence business fleet purchasing decisions. This revelation follows Tesla's strategy of adapting its products to European regulations and conditions, differentiating European specifications from American ones.
