A 75-year-old man was seriously injured this Saturday following a crash of a light passenger vehicle in Fonte, in the parish of Bela, in the municipality of Monção. The alert was issued at 10:15 am.

The Monção Firefighters were dispatched to the scene with an ambulance and an advanced transport support vehicle, totaling seven operatives, as well as the Monção GNR with two military personnel.

A team from the SIV in Melgaço, with two operatives, was also on scene and provided assistance to the victim during the incident.

The man was later transported to Braga Hospital by the Monção Firefighters, accompanied by the SIV team from Melgaço.
