A gardener was detained by the Judicial Police in connection with the homicide of a foreign couple in Lagos. The couple's bodies were found inside a water cistern on the property where they lived, in the Odiáxere area.
Authorities have also identified another man, also foreign, as the main suspect in the murder of the couple. The detained gardener may be involved in the crime or may have provided some type of assistance to the main suspect.
The investigation is being carried out by the Judicial Police, which has not disclosed further details about the circumstances of the death or the identity of the victims for now.
