The Portuguese Government approved an additional allocation of two million euros for the rehabilitation works of Coliseu do Porto. This funding adds to the investments previously allocated for the intervention in this iconic cultural space in Porto.
The rehabilitation intervention at Coliseu do Porto aims to enhance and modernize this historic performance venue. The works aim to ensure better safety and comfort conditions for artists and spectators.
The completion of the works is scheduled for 2027, which means the coming years will be marked by this intervention in Porto's cultural heritage. The Coliseu, which opened in 1941, is one of the main cultural venues in the north of the country and a landmark in Portuguese architectural history.
