A baby approximately one year old was found during the early morning of this Thursday (10) in front of a residence in Bogotá, Colombia. A resident of the area heard knocking on the door and, upon going out to check, found the child sleeping outside, abandoned at the location.
The Metropolitan Police of Bogotá was called and went to the location to protect the child. After learning of the case, the institution activated the care protocol and began working to identify who had left the baby in front of the residence.
In the early hours of the morning, the National Police carried out the rescue of the baby. Authorities continue investigating to clarify the circumstances of the abandonment and find those responsible for the child.
