Flavío Bolsonaro and Lula Are Rejected by 46% of Voters, Datafolha Shows

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and Senator Flavío Bolsonaro (PL) tied for the highest rejection rates among presidential candidates, according to a Datafolha poll released this Friday (11). Forty-six percent of voters say they would never vote for Flavío under any circumstances, while another 46% say the same about Lula.

In the previous round of the poll, Flavío had a 47% rejection rate and Lula had 45%, which represented a technical tie. Both fluctuated within the two percentage point margin of error.

Following the candidates with the highest rejection rates come Renan Santos (Missão), with 17%; Romeu Zema (Novo), with 16%; Ronaldo Caiado (PSD), with 14%; and Augusto Cury (Avante), with 10%.

Datafolha surveyed 2,002 people aged 16 or older between September 8 and 10. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus, and the confidence level is 95%.
