Justice Cristiano Zanin, from the Supreme Federal Court (STF), reiterated on Friday a request that all members of the Court have access to the full data extracted from banker Daniel Vorcaro's phone before the trial scheduled for next Tuesday.
The material is related to Petition 15.556, under the rapporteurship of Justice André Mendonça. Zanin argued that it is "essential" that STF justices have access to the full phone data from Vorcaro.
The justice asked Mendonça to send the HD with the copy of the device's contents, which is in the justice's office, to colleagues. Alternatively, he suggested that the Federal Police make the copy of the data available to each of the chambers. Zanin stated that not making it available to Court members would constitute "evident incongruity" and generate "severe difficulties in the trial."
Zanin rebutted Mendonça, stating that although the rapporteur does not have Vorcaro's phone in hand, he has the device's data extracted by the Federal Police.
