The president of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Edson Fachin, ordered this Friday the total lifting of secrecy from processes related to the Master case. In a subsequent filing, which still needs to be analyzed by the minister, the Attorney General's Office (PGR) requested that the measure also cover processes dealing with investigations into senator and presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), senator Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI), former Rio governor Cláudio Castro (PL), and senator Jaques Wagner (PT-BA). The documents from these investigations remain under secrecy until the end of this Friday.
Fachin made a reservation for procedures with "ongoing or upcoming investigations," for which "potential harm to their effectiveness could be anticipated." The investigation targeting Flavio concerns the financing of the film Dark Horse, a biopic about his father, former president Jair Bolsonaro. According to the investigations, the senator was the "direct intermediary" with the bank responsible for the financial operation related to the film.
