Show ribbons launched during singer Hwasa's performance at Palco Mundo at Rock in Rio 2026 got stuck on the zip line located in front of the stage. The weight of the ribbons was enough to make the zip line wire sag slightly. A woman who was descending on the zip line ended up getting stuck on the equipment due to the tangled ribbons. The moment was captured on video.

The incident occurred during the first day dedicated to k-pop in the festival's history. The main attraction of the evening at Palco Mundo is the group Stray Kids, who perform after Hwasa's performance. The group NEXZ also performed on this k-pop day on the main stage.

The Palco Sunset, on the other hand, offers programming aimed at a different audience. The funk and dance band Jamiroquai is responsible for closing the night on this stage. Also performing are R&B singer PJ Morton, as well as Brazilian acts Os Garotin featuring Duquesa, and opening the day Jota.Pê featuring Luedji Luna and Zaynara.

On the upcoming days of the festival, performances by Demi Lovato, Maroon 5, Halsey and Twenty One Pilots, among other acts, are scheduled.

Correios go to TST against workers' strike

The Correios management filed a collective bargaining dispute request with the Superior Labor Court to declare the workers' strike as abusive and guarantee the continuity of services. The strike began on Thursday due to the lack of agreement on salary adjustments, and since the TST's mediation attempts were unsuccessful, the court will arbitrate the salary increase and social clauses. The state-owned company fears that the strike may affect the company's restructuring plans, which include obtaining a R$ 7 billion loan from banks, with Treasury guarantee. Correios reported that they have reinforced operations to maintain services and that the service network remains open.
