The Avante party's presidential candidate, Augusto Cury, defended that the Supreme Federal Court's plenary session scheduled for next Tuesday (15th) be televised for the entire country. STF President Edson Fachin called the session so that the ministers can decide whether to authorize the opening of an inquiry against Alexandre de Moraes.
The decision involves revelations of messages in which the former owner of Banco Master asked for help so that the minister would intervene in investigations against him. Both are cited in the inquiries investigating the financial fraud scheme involving Daniel Vorcaro's bank.
Meanwhile, Missão party's candidate, Renan Santos, stated in a forum hosted by UOL and Folha de S.Paulo that, if elected, he will not comply with decisions from Alexandre de Moraes and Dias Toffoli, the two ministers cited in the investigations into the Master case.
Former governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema, from the Novo party, said there is a "gang" of STF ministers, but praised the lifting of secrecy from the Master case this Friday. The article indicates that Zema had planned to comment further on the matter.
