Minister André Mendonça, from the Supreme Federal Court, stated on Friday that he maintains a "backup copy" of data extracted from former banker Daniel Vorcaro's cell phone in his office. According to the minister, the data was delivered by the Federal Police in an HD inside a sealed envelope, which remains "untouched to this date."
The information was provided to the Court President, Edson Fachin, after Minister Cristiano Zanin requested access to the complete data from the cell phone of the former owner of Banco Master. Zanin needs to access the data to analyze, on Tuesday, the Federal Police report that identified Minister Alexandre de Moraes as Vorcaro's correspondent in messages.
In the same document, Mendonça states that Vorcaro's cell phone, seized during the first phase of Operation Compliance Zero, is not "at the disposal" of his office. The minister stated that, in February, right after taking over the case, he determined that the custody of the device should be held at the Federal Police's repositories.
