The Superior Electoral Court formed a majority on Friday to reject the registration of Pablo Marçal's candidacy, from PRTB, for President of the Republic. The vote is 4 to 0 for denying the request presented by the influencer.
The reporter of the case, Justice Estela Aranha, voted against the registration and was followed by justices Ricardo Villas Bôas Cueva, Kassio Nunes Marques and André Mendonça. With four votes, there is already a majority in the seven-member plenary of the Court.
Pablo Marçal is already ineligible until 2032, which underlies the justices' decision to reject the candidacy.
Votes from justices Antônio Carlos Ferreira, Dias Toffoli and Floriano de Azevedo Marques are still pending. The trial takes place in the virtual plenary and ends on Friday.
