A CGTP advocated an increase of the national minimum salary to 1,100 euros by 2027. This position of the Portuguese trade union confederation comes in the context of negotiations on salary policies in the country.
The organization highlighted that workers and pensioners need salaries and pensions that allow them to live with dignity throughout the year, and not just during a specific period of the year. This statement reflects CGTP's concerns with the purchasing power and living conditions of the Portuguese population.
