River connection from Algés to Trafaria "comes in handy", but is hidden and has few passengers

Tranporte Lisboa has put into operation a new river connection between Pedrouços/Algés and Trafaria, in an experimental phase. The passengers who use this crossing guarantee they save significant time in their days with this service. The municipal council of Almada, responsible for the operation, defends the continuity of the connection, but acknowledges that it is still not sufficiently known by the public. The service is operating with low attendance, which raises questions about the viability of maintaining the route in the long term.
