Law firm Proença de Carvalho provided legal advice to asset manager Crest Capital Partners on the acquisition of the Tecnopack group and the companies Embalpom and Pack Solutions.

The operation represents a consolidation in the packaging sector, uniting players engaged in the trade, production, logistics, labeling and technical assistance of packaging equipment and solutions.

André Matias de Almeida, partner in the Commercial, Corporate and M&A areas, led the operation, which was coordinated by Miguel Almeida Simões. The team was also composed of Mariana Castro Pereira, Gonçalo Poejo Grilo, Bruno Matias, Madalena Batalha Reis and Pilar Líbano.

The support in Tax Law matters was provided by Bárbara Schürmann and Francisco Bento Ribeiro.
