China Has Already Exported More Cars in Eight Months Than in All of 2025

China continues to strengthen its position in the global automotive sector. In the first eight months of 2026, passenger car exports have already surpassed the total exported during the entire previous year. This milestone evidences the country's growing dominance in the international vehicle market.

Electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids play a central role in this growth of Chinese exports, representing a significant share of the total cars sent abroad during this period.

This performance positions China as one of the world's largest automobile exporters, competing directly with traditional manufacturers from other countries and consolidating its position as an industrial power in the automotive sector.
